Roles and Responsibilities of the Customer relationship Officer in Ujjivan Bank  at Erode branch.

Business/ Financial

• Achieve set targets for open market GL acquisition and repeat GL loans.
• Convert GL customers, their family members, and referrals for Family Banking by opening Savings Accounts and ensuring minimum balance maintenance.
• Proactively source term deposits (FD and RD) from Family members of GL customers.
• Recommend appropriate Insurance products to customers and their family members for sufficient insurance coverage.
• Identify GL customers eligible for potential Individual loans, whether unsecured or secured.
• Address Unsecured IL requirements of customers.
• Refer promising leads for Secured loans to the relevant loan officers.
• Provide customer insights and feedback on products to the ACRM.

Customer

• Educate customers and their family members about the full range of banking products offered by Ujjivan, including Loans (GL, IL, Secured), Deposits, and Insurance.
• Interact with customers in a polite and professional manner, delivering prompt, efficient, and accurate services.
• Ensure timely settlement of insurance claims for customers.
• Resolve customer queries regarding GL, IL, and Family Banking within specified timelines.

Internal Process

• Identify and conduct surveys in new areas for group formation and hold projection meetings for GL and Family Banking.
• For Group Loans, accurately complete customer profile forms and Loan Application forms, collect supporting documents, and conduct Compulsory Group Trainings (CGTs) in strict adherence to KYC norms.
• For Individual loans, assess customer profiles and repayment capacity, complete customer profile forms, Loan Application forms, and collect supporting documents in strict adherence to KYC norms.
• Coordinate with customers throughout the disbursement process.
• Conduct Center Meetings as scheduled, ensuring timely repayments and collection of deposits for savings accounts/fixed deposits, and updating all transactions on True-Cell.
• Open savings accounts for customers and their family members in Ujjivan.
• Assist in conducting CSR activities and encourage customers to participate in Financial Literacy Programs.
• Provide detailed field reports to ACRM and discuss field-related issues.

Learning & Innovation

• Stay informed about the latest GL, IL, and Family Banking products and services, as well as other offerings at the branch.
• Adhere to training man-days and mandatory training programs.
• Complete goal setting, mid-year reviews, and performance appraisals within specified timelines.
