Roles and Responsibilities of General Manager in TMB Bank in Erode
- Credit Management: Assisting regions in evaluating and onboarding credit functions, analyzing branch performance in credit against budgeted levels, and implementing corrective action plans. Overseeing the bank’s operations to ensure efficient and effective management.
- Portfolio Management: Vetting credit proposals in line with the bank’s internal credit risk policies and guidelines, focusing on priority sector advances and building up the credit portfolio of the bank.
- Strategic Oversight: Developing, implementing, and monitoring operating policies and procedures for credit activities, coordinating systems between the branch network and Head Office, and ensuring the achievement of operational and strategic goals set by the Board of Directors.
These responsibilities require a General Manager to have strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills to contribute to the bank’s growth and success. They must also be adept at managing risk, promoting products and services, and identifying future funding sources for the bank’s development.
